I am currently working on developing workshops and project ideas around Bookleteer for Proboscis. While speaking to my colleague and friend, Karen Martin about the potential of using storycubes (Bookleteer) beyond just tools of expression, an interesting case study came up. Here is a project that talks about integrating technology with paper to not make paper obsolete but give it a new meaning in the future.

Flat Futures (Exploring digital paper) is a project developed by Miquel Mora from the                                          Royal College of Arts- Interaction Design.
  • What if we could ‘enhance’ paper instead of getting rid of it?
  • What if we could merge the printed world with the digital one?
These were the questions that sit at the core of Miquel’s ‘Flat Futures’. And the outcome, needless to say is incredible. Take a look http://www.miquelmora.com/flatfutures.html
(Thank you Karen!)
